The AI assistant works as an intelligent layer on top of the 3D scene and performs several basic functions:

  • analyzes the 3D model created by the user in the configurator;
  • interprets the geometry, materials, and composition of the scene;
  • transforms a technical 3D scene into a realistic interior render;
  • takes into account the customer's additional text prompt (style, lighting, atmosphere, etc.);
  • can use photos of the client's actual premises (with advanced integration).

As a result, the solution bridges the gap between the technical 3D model and the actual visual perception of the product.

The problem with classic 3D configurators

Most modern 3D configurators are focused primarily on technical accuracy: geometry, dimensions, materials, module variability, and correctness of parameters.

This model:

  • has a digital appearance and is not perceived as a real space;
  • does not reproduce the atmosphere of the interior - lighting, textures, depth of the scene;
  • does not integrate the product into the context of a specific residential or commercial environment;
  • does not generate a sufficient level of emotional involvement.

How does an AI assistant work?

To demonstrate the logic of the solution, let's consider a typical interaction scenario using the example of a 3D kitchen configurator.

Step 1. Launch the configurator

The client opens the 3D kitchen configurator in the browser and proceeds to create their own configuration.

Step 2. Forming the configuration

At this stage, an accurate technical 3D model is created. The designer sets the key parameters of the future kitchen:

  • dimensions and layout;
  • modules and cabinets;
